What is gRPC?
High-performance RPC over HTTP/2 with typed protobuf contracts.
A remote procedure call framework where services define their contract in .proto files and generate typed client/server stubs. Binaries over HTTP/2 make it much faster than JSON REST — the usual choice for service-to-service traffic in microservices.
