What is Garbage Collection?
The runtime frees memory you stopped using, automatically.
Automatic memory management: the runtime tracks which objects are still reachable and reclaims the rest, removing manual free/delete. It's why most modern languages can't leak-by-forget (though they can still leak-by-hold) — and why systems languages like Rust ask who owns each value instead.
